Joseph Sales and Alice were married before 1728. Alice was born about 1705. Assumed she was born about the same year as her husband. She died before 25 Feb 1747. She was buried on 25 Feb 1747 in St Peter & St Paul, Tonbridge, Kent.¹⁴ Joseph Sales and Alice had the following children:

14	v.	Alice Sales was born before 15 Feb 1735. She was baptized on 15 Feb 1735 in St Peter & St Paul, Tonbridge, Kent.15 Both the IGI, John Doley's Pedigree Resource File and his tree on Rootsweb have the year recorded incorrectly as 1736. My data is from a film of the original register, whereas I notice that John Doley's data is taken from the Bishop's Transcripts, which could be erroneous. Alice was baptised in the old year, the new year starting in March. She died before 25 Feb 1747. She was buried on 25 Feb 1747 in St Peter & St Paul, Tonbridge, Kent.14 John Doley's Rootsweb tree has the year of burial as 1748. This is incorrect, as she was buried in the old civil year (prior to 1752 the civil or ecclesistical year changed on 25 March). The data here has been taken from a film of the original register.
