He was described as 'poor' at his daughter Jane's baptism in 1792 in Marden, Kent.1 (Probably meant he was drawing poor relief.)

She was buried on 6 Feb 1796 in St Michael and All Angels, Marden, Kent.3 The given name for this burial record has been written Jackvillia, but Thomas and Mary did not have a child of this name, or a close match, baptised. Unless this can be refuted in the future, the closest match is that this is the burial of Mary Phillipa, or Philippa.
