Gladys Victoria (Vicki) COPPOCK was born on 20 May 1916 in 326 Southwark Park Road, Bermondsey, London.^205,337 She was baptized after 20 May 1916 in St James Church, Bermondsey.³³² She was living in Apr 1941 in 86 Jackmans place, Letchworth, Hertfordshire.³⁴² About 1941 she was a policewoman interviewing child victims and sexual assaults on women in Hertfordshire - throughout WW2.³³⁷ A standard handbook was written by her boss. He wanted her to go to the police academy, but she spoke to the Chief Constable and the suggestion was withdrawn. She died on 15 Nov 1988 in a hospice (now The Martletts) near Brighton, East Sussex.³³⁷ Post war she was a sterilising unit in Brighton Hospital.³³⁷
