118. Frank Wallwork was born on 18 Nov 1888 in Audenshaw (Manchester). He appeared in the census on 5 Apr 1891 in 22 Granville Terrace, Hurst, Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire.²⁹ He appeared in the census on 31 Mar 1901 in 22 Granville Terrace, Hurst, Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire.²⁹ He died on 10 Feb 1962 in Ashton-Under-Lyne, Lancs.. Left Manchester Grammar School about age 14, since his earnings were needed but would have liked to have continued education and to have gone to university. Joined the District Bank, became an Inspector and then Chief Inspector at head office in Spring Gardens, Manchester. On marriage, lived at 2 Oak Villas, Stockport Road, Ashton-under-Lyne (nearGuide Bridge) until 1937. Moved with his family to Lynwood, 1 Richmond Street, Ashton-under-Lyne. Died when a first heart attack was followed a week later by another.

Frank Wallwork and Edith Bennison were married on 11 Aug 1921. Edith Bennison (daughter of John Bennison and Helena Hibbert) was born on 30 Apr 1893 in Ashton-Under-Lyne, Lancs.. She died on 25 Jul 1966 in Ashton-Under-Lyne, Lancs..⁴⁴ at home, Henrietta St. She was cremated on 29 Jul 1966 in Dunkinfield crematorium. (Eldest of 10 children, so acted as a mother to the younger ones. Lived at "Lynwood", 3 Richmond St. A-u-L for many years. Moved to Henrietta Street, Ashton-under-Lyne after husband's death to be almost opposite her two surviving (unmarried) sisters, Annie and Janie Bennison. Suffered from asthma during her last few years and died of a heart attack, probably during an asthmatic attack.) Frank Wallwork and Edith Bennison had the following children:
