Ellen was born in 1880 at 8 Newton Street, Plaistow. At the 1881 Census she was
an only child with her parents at 4 Kate Terrace, West Ham. [RG 11/1712 f.13]
When she married Jim she also resided at Hoe Street, Walthamstow. The wedding
was witnessed by her mother Elizabeth Ann Coppock nee Holt & paternal grandfather
John William Coppock. Ellen died sometime during the 2nd World War. [Ellen Hilton
#21] Ellen COPPOCK and James Fuller HILTON were married on 27 Mar 1897 in Walthamstow

Fuller HILTON (son of James HILTON and Mary Ann FULLER) was born on 18 Aug
1877.290 He was born on
18 Aug 1877 in 13 Manchester Row Brighton Sussex.291 He died in Jan.290

"Jim" was born in 1877 at 13 Manchester Row, Brighton. At the 1881
Census he resided as a scholar with his family ay 13 Essex Place, Brighton. [RG
11/1078 folio 20] He must have moved with his parents and family to the east
end of London as he is there with them in 1891. He emerges next in 1897 as a
Bricklayer, following the trade of his father, grandfather & great-grandfather,
at Hoe Steet, Walthamstow when he married Ellen Coppock signing as James Hilton
Jnr. His paternal uncle John had also migrated to the East End of London just
before 1881. In 1901 Jim, Ellen and their first three children along with Ellen's
parents and five of their children are living at 12 Thackeray Road, East Ham.Their
fourth child Thomas was born in 1902 at 8 Arragon Road, East Ham & Jim was
then a "Bricklayer (Journeyman)". On the Birth Certificate the father
is named as James Fuller Hilton. On Thomas' Marriage Certificate in 1923 he is
called a "Foreman". Jim managed a Glassworks in Canning Town (Ellen
Hilton/Mill Winterflood). He lived in a large house in East Ham (Ellen Hilton)
or ?Custom House (Mill Winterflood). Jim died aged 61at East Ham in 1939. Ellen
died sometime during the 2nd World War. [Ellen Hilton #21] Ellen COPPOCK and
